6 new Netflix movies and shows to watch this week (September 12)

We’ve arrived at the dreaded Monday, but hold your head up high, the weekend is only five days away. As we do weekly, we’re sharing all new Netflix movies and shows starting the week of September 12, 2022.

If you haven’t finished binging the last season of Cobra Kai, don’t worry, Netflix has a bit of a light schedule this week so you can finish the season. I love these types of weeks because it can be really easy to fall behind on movies or shows that the streaming giant has dropped.

New Netflix movies and shows to watch this week

  • Jo Koy: live from the Los Angeles forumSeptember 13
  • Heartbreak High, September 14
  • Love is Blind: After the Altar Season 2, September 16
  • Drift homeSeptember 16
  • Destiny: The Winx Saga season 2, September 16
  • Revenge, September 16

I’m a HUGE stand-up comedy fan, so for me, what I’m most looking forward to is Jo Koy’s brand new stand-up special. He recently starred in the movie Easter Sunday. Koy has been in the standing game for a long time, and I’m excited for what he has in store for us with the special.

The other big release of the week is Revenge. The dark comedy is set in the world of two girls, Drea and Eleanor, who seek revenge on each other’s tormentors. The film stars Maya Hawke and Camila Mendes in the lead roles. The film is from writer Jennifer Kaytin Robinson who wrote two fantastic films in Thor: Love and Thunder and Pregnant. The the trailer looked goodand Maya Hawke is a star, so consider me intrigued.

According to our suggestions, what are you going to watch? Are you excited about the new movie Revenge? Or will you check Jo Koy with me? Let us know, and hopefully next week brings us more exciting Netflix additions.
