Have you heard of a flummel?
Well, now you have it! There are a lot of great things about movies for the whole family and 2021 has already seen the release of some serious fun for audiences, be it The Mitchell vs. the Machines on Netflix or Raya and the last dragon on Disney +.
They invite us to explore curious new worlds, but perhaps most of all, they are fountains of the imagination, allowing creators to explore creations we’ve never seen before – much like flummels.
These are the donut-shaped furry animals that exist in Extinct, the latest animated adventure from directors David Silverman and Raymond S. Persi.
The audience was delighted trailers earlier this year and were finally invited to check out the film itself in August.
It’s a colorful and comedic tale that’s sure to entertain viewers young and old alike, so let’s highlight where to watch the movie Extinct now that it’s finally hit screens….

- Extinct is now available to stream in the UK on Sky Cinema.

For American audiences, however, the film isn’t slated for release until Saturday, October 16, 2021, and streaming information is likely to emerge as the date draws near.
It was originally slated for release in 2020 but, like many other projects, has been delayed.
Is Off (2021) on Netflix?
No, the animated film is currently not streaming on Netflix and is exclusive to Sky Cinema.
As for what to expect from Extinct itself, the story follows two flummels – Op and Ed – who accidentally time travel from the Galapagos Islands in 1835 to Shanghai today.
As they navigate the city, they soon realize that their species has long been extinct and a hilarious quest to save themselves and their fellow human beings ensues.
