Report: Manchester City striker Kayky set to join Paços De Ferreira on loan

Manchester City’s Brazilian striker Kayky is set to join Paços De Ferreira on loan, according to reports from Portugal.

City will continue their loanee theme this season, with Kayky now set to join Paços De Ferreira in Portugal on loan for the season. The right winger, who featured in one Premier League game for City, is set to get some well-deserved playing time away in the Portuguese league next season.

Kayky turned 19 last month and is highly rated at the club.

According to the Portuguese journalist Bruno Andrade, Kayky is expected to join Paços De Ferreira on loan until next season. Negotiations are said to be advanced and it seems extremely likely that the agreement will materialize.

There is no purchase option as part of the deal, and it is only to help develop the player and allow them to experience proper playing time. The experience will be on his mind when he returns to the club next summer.

Kayky will follow the likes of Slobodan Tedic and James McAtee on the loan door as City continue their loan trend this summer. Liam Delap is expected to be next after the Brazilians’ loan deal is completed, with Stoke City seen as the favorites to secure his signature.

City signed Kayky from Fluminense last April for a fee of around €9m and value the player as an extreme talent for the future.
