Bullet Train is the fast-paced, star-studded action game from Brad Pitt and Sandra Bullock. But where can you watch it online and when will it air?
Here’s where and when you can stream High-speed train on line. With John Wick and Deadpool 2 on his CV, the hype around David Leitch High-speed train comes as no surprise, especially with a cast that includes Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Bad Bunny, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Zazie Beetz. Predictably, the premise is simple: a skilled assassin desperate to get out is reluctantly pulled back into business (sounds familiar) and confronted with a larger conspiracy. The action takes place on the titular high-speed train, where Brad Pitt’s Ladybug must compete against a series of rival assassins to retrieve a briefcase.
After a delay of four months from its original release date, and with Brad Pitt confirmed to perform nearly all of his own stunts, the High-speed train bandwagon quickly accelerated. On the other hand, early reviews hailed High-speed train with a rather mixed reception and the casting of Western actors as Asian characters from Kōtarō Isaka’s original novel High-speed train is based on aroused money laundering charges.
How to watch Bullet Train: is it available online?
High-speed train will premiere in theaters in the United States on August 5 and will not be released simultaneously on any streaming platform or on-demand service. At present, High-speed train can only be seen in cinemas and has already been shown in UK cinema channels since August 3.
Where and when will Bullet Train be streaming?
High-speed train is distributed by Sony Pictures, which launched a first pay-TV window deal with Netflix in 2022. Indeed, Sony’s theatrical releases from 2022 to 2026 (as Unexplored and Morbius) will land on Netflix before anywhere else, and that includes High-speed train. Sony Pictures also has a second pay-TV window deal with Disney, which means Disney+ subscribers should find themselves streaming High-speed train further down the line, once the action-thriller finally lands from Netflix.
Exactly when High-speed train will air is harder to pin down, as there is currently no official air date for High-speed train on Netflix. Fortunately, other Sony releases can offer a general idea of when subscribers should expect High-speed train to access Streaming Station. High-speed train theatrical releases on August 5, and standard US cinema windows now last approximately 45 days. High-speed train will then be released on digital, VOD and physical media platforms, which benefit from their own exclusive window.
sony Unexplored premiered in theaters on February 18 and is confirmed for an August 19 Netflix release, but only after a delay from its original July 15 slot. By applying the same time limit to High-speed trainNetflix subscribers can expect to see Brad Pitt smash assassins on service carts anywhere from early February 2023, possibly stretching into March if High-speed train suffers a delay similar to Unexplored.
